Installation Standards

South East Security continually test and appraise the latest in alarm technology. The company will only purchase alarm equipment that has been manufactured to the highest possible standards in terms of quality and long-term reliability.

As an alarm installation company, workmanship and management operating procedures of the company are controlled and regulated by the National Security Inspectorate (NSI) and ACPO Force Alarms Policy.

PD6662:2004

Since 1st October 2005 all alarm installations are now subject to the requirements of PD6662 which is the UK implementation of BS-EN50131-1. There is now a statutory requirement for all alarm installation companies to fully assess all possible risks to both property and contents, before commencing any alarm installation.

"Only accept a graded alarm installation that clearly meets the level of risk to your property”.

By using EN 50131.1 – PD 6662:2004 graded equipment we can assure all our customers that their intruder alarm installations will satisfy all standards relating to the installation, maintenance and certification of their burglar alarm systems.
